So keeping up with the catch up sesh…

Went to Magic Mountain like 2 or 3 weeks ago, at first It seemed like 50 people were gonna but when it came down to it only killa cam and I were up for the Six Flags adventure…

I guess cause the of the NFC Championship Game going on and the Cold Weather the place was a ghost town…

we would get on rides and there would be no one waiting to get on so we would just stay seated and go again and again…this made killa cam sick…

but apparently sticking her fingers into poor unsuspecting baby bear butts makes her feel better…

the only other problem we ran into was killa cam not being tall enough to get on the rides…

but we found a way to get around the height issue…

Brokeback Mountain was a good time, even though my back has been hurting ever since…Good Night.

Wow, that was a long alcoholiday. Just three days short of a month, hope you’re still out there. Cali? Can you read this? I do this for you.
So much has happened in the last month lets see if I can remember it all…after this I’ll be posting regularly….maybe…

So I went to New York then Costa Rica at the beginning of the month to work for Getty Images shooting stock photography…

This is all the shit that two of us brought on the trip, it was a nightmare carrying it and they almost didn’t let us take it all cause of some law during high season. $500 dollars later it’s on the plane…

Hotel Motel Holiday Inn...

I've been staying at a really nice Hotel in San Jose, Costa Rica for the last two nights waiting for the rest of the crew to arrive, yesterday i didn't leave the room till night time and that was to go to the bar and meet them...I seriously spent the whole day watching T.V and fucking off on the internet pressing the refresh button on my computer to see what the laker/clipper game score was. Lakers won by the way, and Kobe scored 50 points. I'm an Asshole I know.

So we're supposed to head off to the paradise where the shoot will be taking place today around 10am today so i woke up early and decided to get some breakfast and check out some of the hotel...

Pool i won't be swimming in, and not because i don't want to but because i can't swim. Yep, i'm headed to some magical surfers paradise or someshit and i can't swim to save my life...maybe i'll try and maybe i'll die...or maybe i'll just rent a bike...

So I got a job to Photo Assist in Costa Rica for 7 days, but before that I had to Leave Los Angeles and head to New York where I was to fly out of with the photographer which seems easy enough right?...NEGATIVE. I had a flight to Leave on a Red Eye with Ali (who was in town for New Years) on the 2nd, but due to the fact of me being hungover for like 2 days after the New Years party at LAX I had to change my flight (actually I just didn’t show up which is a big no no in the airline business which I later found out). So now I’m thinking that I will just leave on a red eye on the 4th which gives me about two days (plenty of time I’m thinking) to pack and take care of stuff right? NEGATIVE NUMERO 2. Along comes the afternoon of the 4th and I have yet to pack, ship some ebay stuff out, take care of stuff that needs taking care of, and I’m supposedly leaving in like 4 hours. So I go into Freak out mode and call my travel agent to make sure I can get on this flight…he proceeds to tell me that I’m pretty much fucked cause I didn’t show up to my last one and that the ticket has been canceled and that I pretty much need a new one that is gonna run $900. Sweet. I somehow fandangle my way out of paying $900 and use my miles to get a new one and keep the cost of the previous ticket as credit for another flight, working as a team mgr for 9 years will teach you how to figure shit out in emergencies. So now with the ticket situation out of the way, the next step is packing. So I pretty much have to pack twice cause New York is freezing and Costa Rica is like 90 degrees and I was told to bring as much shit as possible for wardrobe situations. 2 massive suitcases later and I’m at L.A.X (the airport not the bar, though I wouldn’t put it past me to make a quick stop at LAX the bar for a drink and cancel my ticket again) Fucking loser.

So I arrive in NY take a nap, get up and cruise around to say hi to people, actually I just wanted to go and sit on the pink bench in front of C.Ronson and look at girls. So at around 5ish work began, we had to go and pick up an absurd amount of photo equipment and make sure everything was ready for our departure in the morning. Once done with all that stuff I was given a 9am meeting time to get going with the last of the stuff before our flight. Danny who is moving to L.A was having a going away party in Brooklyn that night so off I went to meet jens, ali, and danny all while telling myself that I had to take it easy due to my big work day tomorrow…NEGATIVE NUMERO 3…It was like I was told that tonight was my last day to ever drink again. It was like it was my going away party, all I remember is taking shots of jeager at the fish at 4am and then waking up at noon the next day with like 10 calls from the photographer wondering if I was o.k. I got up with one of the worst hangovers to date and ran to meet her. The next 10 hours were some of the worst in my life, carrying shit, getting denied at the airport for having too much stuff, trying not to throw up while getting my passport checked, smelling like a bar, wearing the same clothes for like 3 days, sitting on a plane for what seemed 24 hours, and finally arriving in Costa Rica and having to carry more shit.
I'm Glad i'm finally here.
